Worship

  • Work closely with Lead Pastor in developing and strengthening the worship culture and ministries of Redeemer Church
  • Plan, coordinate, and lead worship gatherings (we currently have two services each Sunday morning)
  • Recruit, train, schedule, shepherd, and supervise volunteers on worship team
  • Collaborate with our Technical Director in developing and maintaining excellence in all technical aspects of our worship gatherings

 

General

  • Work in collaboration with the staff and leadership teams at Redeemer Church
  • Attend weekly staff meetings, quarterly strategic planning meetings, and annual staff retreats
  • Regularly participate in the community life of Redeemer Church
  • Oversee online aspects of Redeemer Church (website, social media, etc.)

Qualifications Genuine trust in Christ, embrace of the gospel, and love for God and others Agreement with Redeemer’s mission, core values, and statement of faith Humble, teachable disposition and a willingness to work closely with Lead Pastor and various teams of volunteers High musical competence, including the ability to sing, proficiency in playing acoustic guitar and/or piano, and the ability to read music High relationship and social skills – the candidate should enjoy meeting and working with people Strong organizational skills, with the ability to organize and accomplish tasks, coordinate volunteers, manage schedules, and design a creative, well-integrated worship services Three to five years previous experience in leading corporate worship a plus Basic skills in graphic design, web development, creative arts, video production, and social media Familiarity with Planning Center and ProPresenter is a plus Willingness to read and grow in theology, philosophy of ministry, and other needed skills
